Watch Your Garden Grow Site Updated

URBANA - A popular University of Illinois Extension website that serves as a guide to growing, storing, and preparing vegetables has been updated.
And, added Jane Scherer, U of I Extension urban programs specialist and director of web programming, it is also now available in Spanish.
"Watch Your Garden Grow" (http://www.urbanext.uiuc.edu/veggies/) was developed by Ron Wolford, U of I Extension horticulture educator, and Drusilla Banks, a U of I Extension specialist in food science and nutrition programming.
Among the changes is a glossary that provides definitions for terms often encountered by gardeners.
The site covers the basics of vegetable gardening, where to plant a garden, disease and pest problems, and a directory of vegetables.
