New Faculty Orientation

The ACES Professional Development office is responsible for the orientation of all faculty and staff in the College. The purpose of this orientation is: to provide an overview of the teaching, research, and extension functions of the college; to provide information regarding the promotion and tenure process; to review the processes and procedures required to begin your research and teaching efforts; to allow you to meet key administrators in the college; and to provide the opportunity to meet other new faculty members.

New Faculty Tours

It has been our experience that the opportunity for new faculty to interact with college administrators, leaders in business, industry, and governmental agencies has greatly enhanced their academic careers. Interactions may lead to research collaboration, funding opportunities, expanded networking, and an increased understanding of the needs and issues impacting citizens of the state.
